Biz International's 10 Feet Doors are a specialized offering for architects and builders who demand grand, imposing entrances that make a statement. At 120 inches (10 feet) in height, these doors transform ordinary doorways into dramatic architectural features.
Manufacturing doors at this scale requires exceptional precision and material quality. Our 10 feet doors leverage the same proven Ecolax / Hardwood solid core technology used in our standard doors, ensuring structural integrity, warp resistance, and dimensional stability even at these larger dimensions.
These doors are available in all our standard finish options — Flush, Laminated (Regular, Post Form, Edgebinding), Veneer, and HDF — giving architects complete design freedom while maintaining the scale needed for luxury spaces.
Each 10-foot door comes with a matching door frame engineered to the same height, available in Regular, Post Form, and Edgebinding configurations. The frame and door are manufactured as a matched set to ensure perfect fit and seamless installation.
Installation Guide
Important: Installation of 10-foot doors requires experienced carpenters due to the scale and weight.
Frame Installation: The door frame must be installed perfectly plumb and level. Use heavy-duty rawl plugs and screws. The frame should be grouted and cured for at least 24 hours before hanging the door.
Door Hanging: Use a minimum of 4 heavy-duty ball bearing hinges, evenly spaced. Two-person installation is mandatory. Maintain 5mm clearance on all sides.
Finishing: Seal all six sides of the door before installation. Apply finish (paint, polish, or lacquer) after hanging for ease of application on the full surface.
Hardware: Use floor-mounted door stops and heavy-duty latches rated for oversized doors. Soft-close mechanisms are recommended.
